User Privileges
IronFlock uses a granular privilege system to control who can access and modify each asset in a project. Privileges are assigned per asset type — projects, devices, device groups, apps, and data backends.
For full details on all privilege types, ownership rules, ownership transfer, device claiming, and the audit trail, see the dedicated Privileges section.
App-Level User Management
IronFlock privileges control access to an app — who can see it, use it, or configure it. However, IronFlock does not manage user privileges inside an app.
If your app needs its own user accounts, roles, or permissions — for example, an operator role that can view data but not change settings, or an admin role that can configure thresholds — the app must provide its own user management.
